A 26th generation Longmen Pai and 1st generation Tai He Jiao priest and Gui Yi (on the formal path of study) under Shifu, Wudang Chen, since 2013.

Cis stepped onto the path of the Dao naturally as a child and began earnest studies in St. Louis in 1985. She now also integrates the Daoist sacred arts of Yi-Jing, Feng Shui, External Qi Healing along with Taiji, Qigong, Dao Yin into her teaching and individualized Daoist health coaching as well as coaching the Dao of Pregnancy.
She worked for 20 years in the field of raptor biology, breeding, hatching, raising, and releasing endangered species back into the wild for the World Bird Sanctuary of St. Louis. She now lives on Green Mountain outside of Bozeman, MT.

Began in 1977. I came on in 1981. I had absolutely unimaginable opportunities to grow and discover within the raptor world and myself. I couldn’t imagine ever leaving… But… the pull of my Taiji and Qigong studies which began in 1985 and had paralleled my raptor work was such that for several years I had offers to share my knowledge and was forever saying “I would love to … BUT…. (because commitment to the WBS took most of my time and my family took an equal amount). Until…. one day I realized I did not want to say “I would love to but I cannot”. I spent 20 years with WBS. They are a remarkable testament to dedication and hard work on behalf of the birds.
Was my first teacher, and Oh the adventures we had! I had no idea what Taiji was; only that I had to do it. Shifu Justin had an uncanny knack for seeking out the best information and teachers and would put his students before them. It was a dizzying pace. Because of him, I was able to study with renowned and respected masters such as: Chen Xiao Wang, Liang Shou-Yu, Yang Zhendou to mention but a few... And then! We studied Hun Yuan Chen Style Taiji with Feng Zhiqiang’s senior disciple, Zhang Xue Xin of San Francisco for over 20 years and with Feng himself a bit.
The saying goes that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. It was most certainly the case with Justin Meehan. And too with Yun Xiang Tseng (affectionately known to all as Chen). Here is a profound teacher from Wudang Mountain with his own coming to America story. He is unlocking the secrets behind the sacred texts and the forms to his students. And while I thought I could not possibly learn another form after 30 years… I find that I indeed CAN and MUST so that I can preserve and share these ancient teachings. On December 8, 2013 I became a formal disciple (DiZi) and am of the 26th generation Longmen Pai.
